At Sanford Burrows, we take as much pride in our materials and manufacturing techniques as we do in our designs. Our goal is simple: to bring you beautifully designed products that are made to last.
Italians do it better. That's why all of our fabrics are produced in Italy. We work with one of the country's most renowned textile companies, where traditional craftsmanship, cutting-edge technologies and an unparalleled dedication to quality and beauty ensure that our linens are of the finest quality.
We love percale. Something about that crisp, clean weave makes us feel like we're sleeping at a 5-star hotel every night. That's because in a percale, the threads are woven together tightly, creating a refined look that is smooth and cool to the touch. Percale is also famous for its ability to wear well and never pill.
Special treatment. Our fabrics are all specially finished for enhanced elasticity, so they resist wrinkles and shrinkage while maintaining a soft hand, wash after wash.
Counting threads.
Many consumers have been led to believe that higher thread counts guarantee
better linens, but it’s just not that simple. Thread count is only one
factor in determining quality and is sometimes misrepresented. What matters most is the quality of the
cotton: Egyptian is among the best because its fibers are extra-long and
create strong, silky threads, resulting in a soft, long-lasting linen. If
the cotton used isn’t high-quality, the highest thread count in the world isn’t going to produce a quality sheet.
We’re proud to say that all Sanford Burrows linens are made of 100% combed
Egyptian cotton, woven with single-ply yarns in a 210-thread-count.
